Implants

Implants are used to replace missing teeth.  An implant is a metal screw that is inserted under the gum into the jaw bone.  The bone can heal to the metal surface forming a strong bond. False teeth in the form of crowns, bridge abutments or dentures can then be fixed to the implant attachment.

This can be a very useful way of replacing missing teeth without relying on adjacent teeth to provide support.

Keval Patel our prosthodontic specialist will be happy to advise you in detail on implant options to suit your individual needs.
