Tooth decay and gum disease can be prevented by simple cleaning and dietary habits. Research has shown that these good habits also dramatically increase the lifespan of fillings, crowns and other dental restorations with significant cost saving on your dental bill. However we understand that sometimes life gets in the way, appointments slip and a healthy dental routine may be put off to a more convenient time. A Direct Access Hygiene appointment and a few words of friendly advice may be all thats needed to get back on track.

Children (under 6) of parents who  attend for a hygiene appointment  are offered a free Preventative Care appointment with the therapist. This includes oral health assessment, preventative advice and fluoride varnish application.

“I was a bit concerned at not seeing the dentist but realised that the advice I received for myself and the children from Jennie ( Oral Health Educator) was far more useful”

"I've been spending a lot of money on toothpastes and mouthwashes. I am pleased with the preventative advice I've been given. This will save me money".

"I saw my new dentist a couple of weeks ago and he's delighted with the condition of my teeth and bone support in particular. He feels they have a long and happy life ahead if I keep flossing. So thanks to you all for looking after my teeth so well over the past years, and for all your determination to keep me on the flossing track".
